Trans Men React To The Supreme Court Ruling

ITV News interviewed Tate about the Equality and Human Rights Commission's interim update, issued on 25 April, following the Supreme Court ruling that determined that, for the purposes of the Equality Act, ‘sex’ means biological sex. The EHRC has suggested that transgender men should use women’s bathrooms and other facilities.

Tate spoke about why he refuses to use women’s bathrooms, the issues raised by the interim update, and the UK's obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights, of which it has been a member since 1951.
