Are Trans Men Being Left Out Of The Narrative?

We’ve spoken to some trans men who have told us they don’t feel safe living in the UK and U.S. following changes to certain laws in recent months.

The UK’s highest court ruled on the definition of a woman (biological sex at birth) in April, causing trans charities to warn of a ‘genuine crisis’ for the community.

In the U.S. currently, an estimated 575 bills are going through congress that have been described as ‘anti-LGTBQ’ by the American Civil Liberties Union.

Despite the large changes impacting their lives, some trans people feel they have been left out of the conversation. Trans men even more so.

As of 25 May, this has 141,000 views on TikTok and 50,000 views on Instagram.
